Huge value, great quality, very happy with this purchase! After looking at all the book-style covers, I opted for this tablet style and am in love! I don’t use it much in a stand-up mode, but I find that the small bit of extra space on the side allows me to comfortably and securely grip with one hand. I also tucked the long flap in under my Kindle so that it is completely out of the way, yet convenient to use if needed. I do find the long flap a little too long to use constantly, but tucking solves that for me.
The color is more muted than shown, which I actually like more than I thought. My Kindle seems secure and protected, with a bit of extra storage- the credit-card pocket and the full-length pocket are very convenient when traveling (boarding pass!).
Excellent product that has already seen heavy, heavy use. I’m very pleased and strongly recommend this product.

This cover is great. It makes reading while typing or eating a breeze while it stands up on its own. It’s sturdy enough to keep the Kindle safe while in my purse and on the go, and it keeps it clean.

After purchasing and returning a sleeve by TimBuk2, I am very happy with this cover. I wanted a cover that opens bottom-top rather than side by side. I find it more convenient for how I orient the screen and hold my Kindle2i. The color is sharp. I am glad it doesn’t have the “hinge securing feature” as some covers do. When closed and secured with the strap, I am confident it’s not going to slide out. There is an extra margin to the left of the Kindle, when its in the case, room for a booklight if you choose – which I have not ordered yet. You can still charge while it’s in the case, which I am at ease knowing the device is protected when I am not there to houver over it. I like the feel of the inside lining, and it is very soft- like a shammy- so I know my screen isn’t going to get scratched. Plus you CAN prop it up like an easel if you are reading at a table and want your hands free, like when dining. There is an elastic stretch band for a pen inside the top, and an area for a business card or so. I reasearched many products and tried one myself, but I think this style has the most bang for the buck. You won’t be disappointed.

This case has made me enjoy my Kindle 2 even more. Before buying it, I was afraid of dropping or banging the kindle. Now I feel that it is adequately protected. It looks nice and easily fits the charger while still on the kindle. Maybe a bit pricey but absolutely worth the peace of mind. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is new and I’m not sure how it will last over timne.
