Syndicated columnist Amy Alkon, headmistress of the cut-the-crap school of advice, blogs daily on love, dating, sex, relationships, politics, religion, social issues, underparented children, and rude assclowns shouting into cellphones in public. It’s true that this blog is not devoted to advice giving (although Amy’s columns are available from the blog and are excellent in this area), but the blog stands on its own merits anyway.
The posts take on issues you probably aren’t going to see discussed elsewhere, and Amy is not afraid to to take unpopular stands. Beyond that, Amy adds original pictures and other materials that she develops herself, in addition to just linking to external sources and discussing those.
I strongly recommend you add this to your rotation of blogs to read!

This blog appears to be mis-titled. I subscribed thinking it was an advice blog (I was thinking Dear Abby style), but all I’ve read are Amy’s thoughts on politics, current events, what she ordered the other day, and other random topics. The blog is okay, but if you’re expecting an advice column this is definitely not it. The images do show up nicely on Kindle.
Update: I visited Amy Alkon’s website on my computer and this subscription is just for the blog section of the site. It doesn’t give you the question/answer advice-style articles that are available in a separate section.
