Last month, the Belmont Public Library acquired 10 Kindle e-readers to lend out to library patrons. The electronic devices, which are about the size and weight of a thin paperback, to store and read more than 1500 electronic versions of books of all genres. The Kindle’s were paid for using a $6000-donation from local couple Liz and Graham Allison.
